1. Frank Lloyd Wright Civic Center Conservancy Resolution

Preview

The Board will hear a request to receive report from the Frank Lloyd Wright Civic Center Conservancy and adopt resolution to commend the Conservancy, County staff and volunteers who celebrated the Marin County Frank Lloyd Wright Civic Center Recognition Year and the 50th anniversary of the official dedication of the Administration Building.

2. Foster Care

Preview

The Board will hear a request for a presentation on the work of Marin foster care families. Marin County Health and Human Services staff will honor local foster parents with a short video presentation and emphasize that Marin is experiencing a shortage of adults willing to care for youths in transition.

3. Tax Equity and Fiscal Responsibility Act Hearing

Preview

The Board will conduct a Tax Equity and Fiscal Responsibility Act (TEFRA) hearing regarding the issuance of up to $30 million of tax-exempt conduit obligations to finance and refinance capital improvements at the Marin Country Day School.

4. Fair housing

Preview

The Board will conduct a hearing on an ordinance providing a procedure for reasonable accommodation in the County’s land use, zoning and building regulations pursuant to Fair Housing Laws.

5. Chief Assistant Positions

Preview

The Board will hear a first reading of an ordinance amending Personnel Management Regulation (PMR) 1.2 to include chief assistant positions in the offices of the County Administrator, Health and Human Services and Public Works. The clerk will be asked to schedule a merit hearing for 10:30 a.m. Dec. 17.

6. Appointments

Review

The Board will consider applications for openings on the Human Rights Commission, In-Home Supportive Services (IHSS) Public Authority Governing Board, the Personnel Commission and the Women's Commission.

7. Residential Lots at Easton Point

Preview

The Board is expected to continue an agenda item regarding the 2008 Easton Point Residential Development (Rezoning, Master Plan, Precise Development Plan, Tentative Subdivision Map) Final Environmental Impact Report (EIR). The applicant, Martha Company, proposes to create 43 residential lots on 49.6 acres near the Tiburon town limits for the development of single-family homes. It was requested to continue the item to 1:30 pm. Feb. 25, 2014.

8. Sleepy Hollow Development Plan

Preview

The Board is expected to continue a hearing on the consideration of Karuna Land LLC Master Plan, Vesting Tentative Map and Precise Development Plan applications to subdivide a parcel in the Sleepy Hollow neighborhood into six residential parcels, an access parcel and a remainder parcel; approve the design of six residences; and approve a transfer of development rights. It has been recommended that the item be continued to an unspecified date in 2014.
