1. Gnoss Field Airport Workshop

Preview

The Board will conduct a workshop to review information on the operation and financial forecast of the Gnoss Field Airport in Novato. The workshop will take place at 9 a.m. in Suite 324A of the Civic Center (just down the hall from the Board chambers).

3. Drought and Water Supply Update

Preview

The Board will hear a presentation from representatives of local water districts on current supply capabilities, challenges and plans.

Review

The Board heard the presentation by local water and sanitary district officials. The presenters proposed a 25 percent mandatory water use reduction by April 1.

4. Mill Valley/Marin County Sustainable Water Pilot Project

Preview

The Board will hear a request from the Community Development Agency to consider entering into a Memorandum of Understanding with the City of Mill Valley, Marin Municipal Water District (MMWD), Tamalpais Community Services District, Marin Builders Association and WaterNow to jointly implement the Mill Valley/Marin County Sustainable Water Pilot Project.

5. Stream Outreach Coordinator Ombudsperson

Preview

The Board will hear a request from the Community Development Agency to authorize the Board President to execute an agreement with the Marin Resource Conservation District (MRCD) to fund the Stream Outreach Coordinator Ombudsperson program. The amount is not to exceed $170,000.

6. Community Service Fund Allocations

7. SmartMeter Moratorium

The Board will consider application for two board positions for County Service Area 18 (Las Gallinas), eight term expirations and two vacancies on the Disaster Council, two term expirations and one vacancy for the Law Library Board of Trustees, one vacancy on the Library Commission, one vacancy on the Marin/Sonoma Mosquito & Vector Control Board, and seven vacancies on the Measure A Community Oversight Committee (Parks, Open Space and Farmland Preservation).

9. Land Development Plan in Unincorporated San Anselmo

Preview

At approximately 1:30 p.m., the Board will conduct a hearing about the Karuna Land LLC Master Plan, Land Division and Precise Development Plan and Negative Declaration of Environmental Impact for a proposed development at 1 Sacramento Ave. in unincorporated San Anselmo (APN 177-220-10). After an overview from the Community Development Agency staff, the Board will consider adopting an ordinance approving the master plan for six residential lots and a remainder private open space parcel.

Review

The Board approved the Karuna Master Plan Ordinance with amendments, adopted the Negative Declaration of Environmental Impact, and denied without prejudice the Vesting Tentative Map and Precise Development Plan.
