Highlights of the May 13, 2014 Board Meeting:
The Board will hear a request to adopt a resolution proclaiming the month of May 2014 as Mental Health Month. Untreated mental illness the leading cause of disability around the world. In Marin, County employees, contracted service providers, clients and their families make heroic efforts to promote mental health awareness.

The Board will hear a request from the County Administrator for Board concurrence and adoption of response to 2013-2014 Grand Jury Report titled "Recycling by the Marin County Government: Walking the Talk" from Feb. 20, 2014. The Grand Jury made seven key recommendations to improve recycling in its report.
