The Board will hear a request to support AB 157, regarding the Richmond-San Rafael Bridge. Assemblymember Marc Levine, who represents Marin County, authored the bill to accelerate the design, environmental review and permitting process related to two bridge projects. The plans include a peak-hours third lane in the eastbound direction and an extension of the Bay Trail on the bridge's westbound level for bicyclists and pedestrians.

The Board voted to authorize the Board President to send a letter of support for AB 157 to Assemblymember Levine.

The Board will conduct a hearing to consider a resolution concerning the adoption of a new fee schedule for use of Marin County Parks. The new fees would reflect an overall decrease for visitor use at county parks and make the fee structure for private special events more transparent and consistent.

The Building and Safety Division requests to add one building plans examiner and one building inspector as part of an internal reorganization to support a more responsive plan review services and reduce inspection delays.
