1. San Francisco-Marin Food Bank Milestone

Preview

No earlier than 9 a.m., the Board hear a request for a resolution recognizing the five-year anniversary of the San Francisco-Marin Food Bank merger.

Review

The Board adopted the resolution and congratulated staff of the San Francisco-Marin Food Bank.

2. In-Home Supportive Services Annual Report

Preview

The Board hear an annual report presentation of the In-Home Supportive Services (IHSS) Public Authority of Marin.

Review

The Board heard the annual report from IHSS Director Madeline Kellner and comments from Marin County Department of Public Services' Lee Pullen, the director of the Aging and Adult Services Division.

3. Marin Watershed Program

The Board will hear a status report from the Department of Public Works concerning the 2016 Marin Watershed Program.

4. Urban Streams Coordination Program

Preview

The Board will hear a report from the Community Development Agency (CDA) on a partnership with Marin Resource Conservation District to implement the Urban Streams Coordination Program. The program emphasizes the preservation, restoration, and enhancement of the County's streams through outreach, education, and collaboration and provides technical and permit assistance to landowners. According to CDA staff, the options for the Board include expanding the program or increasing investment in stream restoration/enhancement. Staff recommends that the Board accept the report and provide staff direction on program changes for fiscal year 2016-17.

5. Speed Limits on Point San Pedro Road

Preview

The Board will conduct a first reading of an ordinance establishing speed limits on portions of Point San Pedro Road in unincorporated San Rafael. Several sections of the road are proposed to have limits increase from 35 mph to 40 mph. Staff recommends that the Board schedule a merit hearing for 10:30 a.m. July 26.

6. Appointments to Advisory Boards and Commissions

Preview

The Board will consider one vacancy on the Law Library Board of Trustees, one on the Almonte Sanitary District Board of Directors, one on the Child Care Commission and one on the Women's Commission.
