The Board will hear a request from the County Administrator for Board for concurrence and adoption of response to 2016-2017 Civil Grand Jury report titled "Marin’s Retirement Health Care Benefits – The Money Still Isn’t There” (May 10, 2017). The County agreed with the Civil Grand Jury on four findings and disagreed wholly or partly with three findings. Seven recommendations have been implemented, one more is planned to be implemented, and one will not be implemented. Staff recommends that the Board concur in and thereby adopt a response and direct the Board President to submit the response to the presiding judge.
The Board adopted the response.
