The Board will hear a request from Marin County Parks to conduct a public information meeting regarding the continuation of the Rush Creek Landscaping and Lighting District, an unincorporated area in eastern Novato. On June 13, the Board adopted a resolution of intention to continue the district's maintenance and operation. As required by the state, the Board must conduct a meeting to allow an opportunity for the public to ask questions about the district and the $949 annual assessment. Staff recommends that the Board schedule a public protest hearing, the fourth of a four-step process, for 10 a.m. July 25.
The Board conducted the meeting and approved the resolution.
