No earlier than 1:30 p.m., the Board will consider of the Sir Francis Drake Boulevard Rehabilitation Draft Environmental Impact Report (EIR). The County is planning for the rehabilitation of the roadway between Highway 101 in Larkspur and the Ross town limit. Because of the road's unique nature and current function, the County is using the opportunity to comprehensively evaluate the corridor for potential improvements to vehicle flow, transit operations, and pedestrian and bicyclist circulation along and across this important arterial. Staff recommends that the Board open a public hearing for public comment following a presentation by Public Works staff. Staff seeks Board direction to the EIR consultant in preparation for a final EIR.
The Board received the staff report and public testimony. No other action was taken.
