The Board will hear a request from the Department of Information Services and Technology (IST) to receive a report regarding the Administrative Technologies of Marin (ATOM) Project. The software project is designed to streamline the way the County’s administrative staff handles its business operations, including budgeting, accounting, and purchasing. ATOM launched with its finance modules in 2016, and performance issues have been resolved as of spring 2018. This status update is about the December 2018 target as a go-live date for the human resources and payroll component of ATOM. System testing is scheduled for October.
