No earlier than 2:30 p.m., the Board of Supervisors will conduct an informational workshop to review applications submitted for Cycle 1 of the Community Services Grant Program and consideration of funding recommendations. The program provides small allocations to support various community services needs on a timely basis. The funds are used for small, one-time requests and are allocated to nonprofit service providers or other governmental entities. All allocations are reviewed by the County Administrator's Office to ensure that the services are appropriate and provide a local public benefit. All allocations will be approved by the full Board in a subsequent meeting. Staff requests that the Board review the applications and provide direction to staff.
The Board conducted the workshop and reviewed the applications. Allocations are to be announced at the December 4 meeting.
