The Board will hear a request from the Department of Public Works to approve actions related to the Structure Elevation Program. The County received a $2.9 million federal grant in 2019 to reimburse homeowners for costs to elevate up to 16 homes above the 100-year base flood elevation. Public Works has worked with a contractor to develop the Structure Elevation Program and templates agreements with homeowners. Staff recommends that the Board adopt the County of Marin – Structure Elevation Program Design document, authorize the Board President to execute a First Addendum to the agreement with Harris and Associates, Inc., in the amount of $75,000, for program support services, authorize the execution of Property Owner Agreements with participating homeowners, and approve related budget actions.
