Notice on FDA Order Pertaining to Partially Hydrogenated Oils (PHOs)
As of June 18, 2018, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) order pertaining to foods containing partially hydrogenated oils (PHO) will be effective and enforced. Marin County Department of Environmental Health is notifying all the retail food facilities covered by this order of their compliance obligations. Please refer to the link below for more information regarding your responsibilities as a food facility owner/operator to ensure no foods containing PHOs are offered.

EHS Customer Service Counter and Telephone Service Hours are Monday – Thursday 8:00 am – 4:00 pm.
There will not be any general customer service on Fridays.
