Project Description

The Marin County Planning Division intends to propose to rezone Assessor’s Parcels number 052-032-12. The current zoning for the property is A2-B2 (Limited Agriculture; 10,000 sq. ft minimum lot area) and RA-B1 (Residential, Agricultural; 6,000 sq. ft minimum lot area). The proposed zoning will be Open Area (OA). The current Marin Countywide Plan designation is SF5 (Single Family, 2-4 units/acre) and SF6 (Single Family, 4-7 units/acre). The proposed Marin Countywide Plan designation will be Open Space (OS).

The Tamalpais Community Services District purchased the subject property in 2017. Upon the purchase of the property, recorded document 17-037749 included a term that required the subject property be rezoned to OA. In addition, to ensure consistency with the Marin Countywide Plan the subject property Countywide Plan designation would be changed to OS.
