Residents may register and vote from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
San Rafael, CA – The Marin County Elections Department will be ready to assist residents with registering and voting on Saturday, November 3, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Voters may also come to the San Rafael office to drop off their vote-by-mail ballot.
“The response to this election has been significant, and we want to give residents more time to register and vote in the office,” said Registrar of Voters Lynda Roberts.
Roberts said ballots for the November 6 General Election have been coming in steadily and has a few reminders.
The Elections Department wants every vote to count, so, in addition to signing your ballot return envelope, remember that your ballot envelope must be postmarked on or before November 6, Election Day.
If you decide not to mail your ballot, you have other return options:
Return your voted ballot sealed in the signed envelope to the Marin County Elections Department weekdays from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. or on Election Day from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Return your voted ballot sealed in the signed envelope to any polling location before 8 p.m. Election Day.
Use the dropbox stationed at the main entrance to the Marin Civic Center through 8 p.m. Election Day. The main entrance is on Peter Behr Drive under the Civic Center’s south archway. The address is 3501 Civic Center Drive, San Rafael.
Voters may use the Voter Information Portal (VIP) to check the status of a vote-by-mail ballot.
The Elections Department is in Suite 121, Marin County Civic Center, 3501 Civic Center Drive, San Rafael. For more information call the Elections Department at 415-473-6441 or 6444. Follow the Facebook page.
