PLEASE NOTE: To qualify as a poll worker you must be either a registered voter in California or a permanent legal resident of the U.S. and aged 18 and over†, or a high school senior who is at least 16 years old. Being an elections officer requires a solid commitment to be at the polling location before, during, and after the polls are open. The polls will be open three days before the election for 8 hours each day and on Election Day, 7am to 8pm. Breaks are provided throughout the day.

Poll workers must be able to read and write English.

†If you are a permanent legal resident of the U.S., you are eligible to work as a clerk only.
