Vote By Mail Elections Conclude May 6

San Rafael, CA – Election Day is Tuesday, May 6, for voters in the Reed Union and Novato Unified School Districts, but polling stations will not be open in this vote-by-mail election. Ballots are due at the Marin County Elections Office by 8 p.m. May 6.

Voters should mail their completed ballots by April 30 to assure that they reach the Elections Office by May 6. Postmarks don’t count.

Voters can also drop off their voted ballots at one of the following locations:

  • Marin County Elections Office, Marin Civic Center, 3501 Civic Center Drive, Room 121, San Rafael. The hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.  and 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Election Day.
  • A ballot box at the main entrance to the Civic Center. Boxes are available 24 hours a day from April 30 until 8 p.m. May 6.
  • On Election Day, voters may drop off ballots at the Tiburon Town Hall, 1505 Tiburon Blvd., Tiburon, or at the Social Hall in the United Methodist Church, 1473 S. Novato Blvd., Novato, from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Call the Elections Office at 415-473-6456 for more information or if you live in the Reed Union or the Novato Unified School districts and didn’t receive a ballot.
