San Rafael, CA – Many people will be anxious and excited on election night about the first returns, and the Marin County Elections Department is poised to promptly deliver the numbers on its election results webpage.
Vote-by-mail ballots dropped off at polling places on Election Day will be processed in the days following the election, as will provisional ballots.
For those who vote by mail, Registrar of Voters Lynda Roberts has a couple of reminders. “Please sign your return envelope because we can’t process your ballot without a signature,” she said. “And don’t forget that your mailed ballot must be postmarked on or before Election Day.”
You can use the online Voter Dashboard to check the status of your vote-by-mail ballot.
After election night, updates to the election results will be posted to the Elections Department website, www.marinvotes.org, every Friday by 5 p.m. until Roberts declares the election completed.
